Tailored Bedroom Drapery Design

Dark, Restful Comfort with Flexible Light Control

In this primary bedroom, custom linen-blend drapery panels were introduced to add softness, privacy, and full light control. Designed with a pinch pleat header and installed on a black French return rod with rings, the drapery creates a clean, tailored look that complements the structured window layout and existing shutters. The soft “Pale Blue Aqua” color adds a subtle layer of calm and refinement to the space.

Designed for both comfort and function, the panels are lined with blackout lining and fully close to block light for restful sleep. During the day, both the drapery and shutters can be opened to welcome natural light and outdoor views. For this well-traveled retired couple returning to Cypress, a Houston-area community, the result is a serene and refined retreat that balances elegance with everyday livability.
