Updating decades-old window treatments with tailored drapery and clean, custom valances.

After living with her existing window treatments for decades, this Houston homeowner was ready for a lighter, more contemporary look while maintaining the warmth and comfort of her home. The goal was to refresh the rooms without making them feel overly formal or disconnected from the character of the space.

We replaced the dated treatments in the living room with soft, tailored drapery in a subtle geometric pattern, paired with light-filtering liners to bring in natural light while adding privacy. Clean, linen-look valances complete the adjoining dining area, creating a more refined and cohesive appearance.

The result is a fresh, layered look that feels comfortable, intentional, and beautifully suited to everyday living.
